They’re now looking for a dedicated Senior Process Technologist to join their thriving team and drive process improvements to help them retain their prominent position in the marketplace. The Role
Reporting to the Process Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful transfer of exciting products from concept through to factory trials and production. This will involve consistent collaboration with colleagues in operations, NPD and technical throughout the manufacturing process. You ‘ll also assist and develop continuous improvement and NPD programmes. As this is a fast paced, high volume food manufacturing environment, you will be involved in multiple projects at different stages. Coordinating trials, providing product quality improvement solutions, reviewing and translating shelf life and nutritional results will form part of your responsibilities. You will also manage and maintain strong customer relationships, product submissions and sensory panels. The Person
We are looking for a Process Technologist who has gained chilled category experience within a food manufacturing environment. Educated to a degree level in Food Science or related degree, you will have the hands-on knowledge and understanding of the full NPD critical path to successfully launch high quality products into UK retailers. You'll have strong communication and team collaboration capabilities, so that you can lead and nurture those around you to achieve fantastic results time and time again. Excellent planning, organisational and problem solving are essential, along with the tenacity to drive initiatives to reach targets within set deadlines. Above all, you will be enthusiastic with the energy and self-motivation to drive continuous improvements throughout the workplace.
