Job Description Venator is recruiting for a Senior Process Technologist to join our Process Technology Team based in Wynyard. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading scientific activities in the TiO2 manufacturing process to enable the development, implementation and evaluation of new products & processes at laboratory, pilot and plant scale that will improve business performance and benefit the company’s technical knowledge base. Job Responsibilities Include

Develop laboratory processes, methods and tests in order to measure the performance of new products and processes. Implement, evaluate and report on experimental programmes in order to develop new products and technology platforms for the business. Train and assist colleagues, in the area of own technical expertise, in order that they can clearly specify their development programmes. Maintain laboratory instrumentation, equipment and systems so that they are safe, optimised and available for use. Develop and improve personal skills, capability and knowledge in a wide range of processes and test techniques in order to maximise contribution to meeting the needs of the business. To carry out all duties at all times to be in compliance with all Venator Corporate EHS, Product Stewardship, SOX and Business Conduct policies and guidelines. The role requires the job holder to have a minimum of a BSc degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or other closely-related science. Essential

In depth knowledge and experience of the titanium dioxide sulphate and finishing processes. Experience planning, implementing and evaluating process development at the laboratory scale. Experience of progressing development projects at pilot and plant scale. Desirable
