The Role: In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic procurement consultancy to clients across FM, construction, and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership:
Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with client goals, driving cost savings, efficiency, and supplier innovation. Diverse Category Management:
Manage procurement across both direct categories (e.g., construction materials and equipment) and indirect categories (e.g., facilities management and corporate services). Large-Scale Project Delivery:
Support the delivery of complex, high-value projects using frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC, and JCT, ensuring seamless execution. Client Partnership:
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a key advisor on procurement processes and best practices. Sustainability Focus:
Champion innovative approaches that incorporate sustainability and carbon reduction, contributing to long-term environmental goals. Requirements: Proven Procurement Expertise:
A strong background in procurement for FM, construction, or infrastructure projects, including experience managing large-scale contracts. Framework Knowledge:
Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT, with the ability to navigate compliance and governance requirements. Strategic Mindset:
A track record of designing and delivering procurement strategies that achieve measurable outcomes and exceed client expectations. Exceptional Communication Skills:
Confidence in building relationships and negotiating with senior stakeholders and suppliers across diverse teams. Professional Accreditation (Desirable):
CIPS or MCIPS certification is advantageous but not essential.
