Job Description Senior Procurement Lead - Automation / Material Handling / Engineering Circa £50-55K plus pension, training & development Excellent Salary and development opportunities Location: Nottingham I am currently looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Lead to join my client based in Nottingham. You will lead my client's rapidly growing Engineering Supply Chain team, procuring and delivering complex electro-mechanical systems and equipment in the UK against short lead times to achieve business goals and objectives, while building relationships with suppliers for long-term cost reduction and delivery. Accountabilities

Development, co-ordination, and management of key suppliers Drive team performance Report relevant supplier KPIs and drive performance Ensure delivery schedules stay on plan, budget, and meet specified quality standards Risk identification and mitigation, anticipating supply chain challenges Take ownership of supply issues, resolving them in line with business needs Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain robustness Communicate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment of projects and expectations Experience

Minimum Requirements: Good track record of component sourcing and supply chain scaling within Europe and worldwide, including legal contract management Proven track record in effective supplier development and management Experience of sourcing and procuring electro-mechanical equipment in an engineering environment Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering company procurement strategies Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented, fast-paced environment C.I.P.S. membership preferred High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP software Application Process
