We are looking for a Procurement Manager (Healthcare, Lifecycle and Capital Works) to join our building services team at our Leavesden Office, Watford. Working as a Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead and develop healthcare lifecycle & capital works portfolio category procurement for trade contract packages, goods and services, including major plant and equipment, to successfully collaborate across the Healthcare sector leveraging commercial positions both at portfolio, project, and business levels. You’ll: Support operational teams at both tender & project delivery, through the timely completion of Lifecycle and Capital Works procurement activities. Support and contribute to tender strategy utilizing approved MEP & FM supply chain. Evaluate and define best value route to market across required packages. Provide feedback on Building Services Supply chain performance at category level, including any data collection and information that is required. Work with the Head of Strategic Procurement to contribute market intelligence to support Best Value on Procurement. Collaborate and leverage requirements across the healthcare sector. Form strategic partnerships, setting and agreeing commercial arrangements with both Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, leveraging commercial positions across projects, ensuring commercial rebates are maximized using trading agreements. We are looking for: Computer literate in Word & Excel and purchasing systems. Extensive subcontract and material procurement experience, particularly in major plant and equipment, with working knowledge of relevant forms of contract. Extensive Healthcare / MEP supply chain market knowledge and network. Experience working both at strategic and operational levels with input into departmental strategy.
