Senior Product Design Engineer
- Kent - up to £60,000 + Benefits - REF 1733 I am currently recruiting for a Senior Product Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Kent. Salary up to £60,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years, employs more than 50 specialists within their respective disciplines, and designs and manufactures their products within the UK that get exported across the globe to a very high specification. To support the growth of the business and in line with current project demands, they have the need to appoint a Senior Product Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading all NPD activities for a range of incredibly high-quality products from concept through to manufacture. You will be mentoring a team of 4 other Product Design Engineers and being the technical expert for all new projects that fall within the NPD category. As the Lead Product Design Engineer, you will also be expected to manage the projects from inception to completion, which will include consultation meetings with clients to discuss design briefs whilst providing project updates. Essential Requirements:
At least 5 years experience as a Product Design Engineer or similar 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join a company that has aggressively grown in recent years, and projections suggest this is to continue to cope with the demand for their products.
