Product Development Purpose

Product is the central hub for all GAM products across diverse asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, and Alternatives—a strategic focus for us. We work across a wide variety of fund structures, including but not limited to Irish UCITS, Lux UCITS, UK OEICs, Swiss Funds, BVI, Cayman, Australian Unit Trusts, and Lux Part II funds. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for someone with strong Alternatives/Private Markets experience to work on exciting, high-impact projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, contribute to committees and board meetings, and help shape the future of GAM’s product suite. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end implementation and coordination of new funds and segregated accounts, focusing on innovative, client-driven solutions. Manage complex product-related projects, including fund repositions, mergers, terminations, and enhancements. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to address technical product questions, ensuring seamless execution. Drive the development of compelling business cases for new product initiatives, with a strategic focus on Alternatives/Private Markets. Actively participate in GAM’s Product Development Committee, board meetings, and other governance forums. Stay up to date with evolving market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor insights to inform product strategy. Qualifications & Experience

Strong expertise in Alternatives/Private Markets, with experience across a range of asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Alternatives). 5+ years of experience in Product Development within asset management. Comprehensive knowledge of fund structures, including Irish UCITS, Lux UCITS, and Cayman funds, among others. Solid understanding of product regulations and operational processes, with the ability to streamline workflows. Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within scope. Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to high-level discussions. Personal Attributes
