Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics. What you will do: Maintain, develop, and implement automation systems primarily using Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software, and ideally able to also work with Siemens and TIA Portal. Oversee the integration and lead verification of electrical control cabinets, including wiring, layout, and component selection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop specifications, and ensure successful project execution, including new product developments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues to ensure continuous and efficient operation, with a customer first mindset. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Who you are: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software. Comfortable acting as SME and making decisions on behalf of the team with a customer first mindset. Holds strong commitment to continuous improvement, is willing to act and able to influence others. Experienced problem-solver, independently and as part of a team. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Siemens PLC Modification & use of TIA Portal software. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems, including 21 CFR part 11 and GAMP.
