Competitive, will disclose over phone. We are seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead a team of Product / Assistant Product Engineers. The role involves developing electrical products, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing product improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in electrical or electronics engineering and a passion for product development and quality assurance. Day to Day of the Role:

Develop electrical products in collaboration with manufacturing partners, establishing product specifications, writing product briefs, and assessing samples. Coordinate testing of products in development and investigate any product issues. Establish product and packaging labelling and marking requirements, including labels, instruction leaflets, and data sheets. Work with the Quality Team to investigate product problems, report findings, and manage product improvements with partner factories. Ensure products comply with relevant safety standards and directives, including EMC, REACH, and RoHS. Produce and maintain technical literature, including product specifications and packaging specifications. Conduct factory audits and pre-delivery inspections as needed. Maintain up-to-date technical support files, including WEEE and packaging weight data. Required Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a managerial role. Degree in an Engineering discipline with an electrical or electronics bias, or college background with extensive electrical product employment experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product standards, and quality problem-solving. Knowledge of electrical product application and installation, including building site practices. Good understanding of British/European Standards and legislation relevant to the product portfolio. Experience in collaborating with offshore factories remotely. Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations is ideal. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Personal Attributes:
