Harris Health Alliance, part of Harris Computer company, are currently recruiting for a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner on a permanent, full-time, remote working basis. Whilst we provide for a fully remote working environment, occasional travel will be required to our collaborative offices in Chippenham, Swindon, Chester, and Plymouth. There may also be occasional visits to client sites to provide consultancy, sales support, and other business-critical activities. As a Product/Senior Product Owner, you'll act as the voice of the customer, bridging business needs and development teams. You will define and prioritize product features, manage the product backlog, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business goals. Position & Responsibilities In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Collaborating with stakeholders to define the product vision, goals, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy Utilising business analysis techniques to scope and accurately define user requirements, ensuring they align with product goals and objectives Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria Creating, managing, and prioritising the product backlog, ensuring development teams understand and deliver on business needs Assisting with project management activities where required, ensuring alignment between project deliverables and product goals Leading sprint planning, refinement, and review sessions, ensuring the team stays focused on delivering value Monitoring and evaluating product progress, defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success Maintaining a strong understanding of the customer experience, gathering feedback to inform future product decisions Collaborating with development teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements Identifying and mitigating risks related to product delivery, implementing solutions to overcome obstacles Staying up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy Promoting Agile principles and fostering a collaborative environment among development teams and stakeholders What we are looking for Circa 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a related field Proven experience in managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and working within Agile teams Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of aligning diverse perspectives to achieve a shared vision Experience in delivering value-driven products on time and within scope A background in software development, SaaS, or healthcare technology is highly desirable Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with development teams Desirable: Experience working within modern technology stacks, including cloud-based infrastructure, microservices architecture, and cutting-edge development tools, enabling efficient and scalable product development Familiarity with healthcare technology or related industries, with a strong emphasis on knowledge of the UK primary care market, including its systems, regulations, and challenges Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Experience with data-driven decision-making and tools such as Power BI or similar About Us Formed in 2024, Harris Health Alliance comprises four well-established and distinguished brands, all operating within the healthcare sector and delivering innovative software solutions to clients worldwide.
