Our client is at the forefront of developing highly efficient and smart connected products in our quest towards achieving the electrification of heat and low carbon home heating solutions. Reporting to the Head of Technical and Training, you will be responsible for product training for the full range of products. Taking ownership for the product training requirements of the business, continually reviewing how, when, where and what training to deliver, driving best practice and continuous professional development. Developing specialisms in Heat pumps, delivering a world class training proposition. There will be travel throughout the UK in this role, it is anticipated you will be available to travel to Hampshire regularly to head office and for meetings and induction (accommodation paid for). Main Duties Manage the UK training budget ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment. Delivering world-class training solutions to key accounts and a diverse customer base. Supporting the development and delivery of the strategic training roadmap for the business. Design and develop effective product training and content, confidently delivering in all training methodologies, to ensure we offer a blended learning approach, driving best practice and enhancing the learner experience. Travel around the United Kingdom as required, to deliver product-related training, ensuring a professional, impactful, and prompt service. Create & deliver CPD presentations/training to encourage and meet personal development plans. Ensure all educational material is relevant, prepared to a high standard, and published onto the training platform, ensuring availability to the relevant audience. Facilitate seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions as required, supporting customers and 3rd party installers/repair engineers. Provide support to new product development based on lessons learnt from customers, employees, 3rd party installers/repair engineers. Develop managers and others to deliver training as required. Monitor employee performance and customer response to product training, identifying any actions to drive continuous improvement. Work to agreed objectives & KPI’s, exceeding them where possible. Skills and Knowledge Proven, strong experience in product training as a corporate trainer. Experience of effective teaching methodologies and tools. A good understanding of Learning Management Systems. Experience of content creation for use in an LMS, including Adobe, Microsoft Office. Experience in creating E-learning, Webinar, and Seminar training material/content. Be confident in the creation of tutorial videos. Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills. Good negotiation and customer management skills. Experience in delivering training to varying audiences. University Degree and a post-graduate qualification in training, CIPD. Other suitable and relevant qualifications will also be considered. Have/have a recognised training qualification. Have/have a recognised electrical qualification. Have experience with electric heating & household appliances. Have a good understanding of Electrical & Mechanical engineering. NICEIC – able to develop and deliver training to heat pump training in line with or equivalent to LCL, BPEC, and NICEIC up to level 3. Salary and Benefits Up to £55K.
