CY Partners are currently looking to recruit a Senior Production Chemist on behalf of a speciality chemicals manufacturer at their site on Teesside.
In this role you will be responsible for the synthesis and transfilling, sampling and bottling of high purity chemicals. The chemicals are air sensitive and are handled under inert nitrogen atmospheres using vacuum/nitrogen lines and glove boxes. You will be working with laboratory glassware in volumes between 5L and 100L and using standard laboratory techniques.
This role would suit someone who has experience working with hazardous chemicals; experience working with air sensitive chemicals is an advantage, as is experience of working with development reactors of volumes 20L to 100L, including the installation and maintenance of rigs of this size.
