WeConnect Energy are currently recruiting for a Senior Production Engineer to support an E&P Operator, based in Aberdeen.

This role is an initial 12-month contract, based full-time in our clients office. Please note, candidates must hold the right to work in the UK.

Key responsibilities: The Senior Production Engineer is responsible for production and injection surveillance, optimisation and forecasting. This role is key to maximising production by working closely with the other functional teams, to identify and efficiently deliver opportunities to increase well potential and improve uptime.

Generate weekly / monthly production forecast & injection targets and well test priorities.

Provide short-term well production solutions that maximise well production within life of field, and cost and volume production / support strategies.

Monitor and manage the well integrity process ensuring the wells are operated within their design limits and facilitating risk assessments and determining remedial/surveillance data gathering where appropriate.
