Senior Production Engineer
Up to £40,000 - D.O.E.
Location: Pershore
My client is a specialist Engineering Company that produces products for multiple industry sectors such as the aerospace, automotive, and rail industries. They are seeking a new Senior Production Engineer to join their existing team to provide production engineering input, technical support to the wider engineering team, and manage production engineering projects from initial concept to delivery.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the MRP system is maintained to the latest standards Provide technical support to operations & engineering teams Review existing production processes and identify areas of improvement Work closely with the Quality Engineers on root cause analysis Produce and maintain documentation including process instructions and BOMs Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing Previous experience working within either a Manufacturing or Production environment Member of or working towards a membership of a relevant engineering institution (IMechE, IET, etc.) Previous experience in Lean manufacturing tools and techniques Experience of ISO standards would be advantageous Experience in project delivery and problem-solving Based in Pershore, this Senior Production Engineer opportunity is commutable from Worcester, Hereford, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Malvern, and Cheltenham.
