Senior Production Planner Join a global leader in Tier 1 automotive and play a pivotal role in driving excellence in production planning and logistics. This is your chance to contribute to world-class projects and deliver outstanding results in a high-quality, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of escalation for planning issues within your area. Review and monitor weekly demands against long-term forecasts and agreed volumes. Level demand and align stock profiles to compensate for fluctuations, ensuring internal and customer needs are met. Conduct and support physical stock checks, maintaining system accuracy and driving KPI improvements. Regularly communicate with customers and internal departments to address scheduling, delivery performance, and logistics issues. Ensure efficient production planning and parts ordering through SAP, targeting 100% delivery and stock performance. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and support new product introductions and end-of-life planning phases. Analyse customer schedules to inform sales data, capacity, and manpower planning. Oversee customer performance reviews and provide logistical support, including occasional travel.

What You'll Need:

Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and team-driving abilities. SAP (MRP/ERP) expertise and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Proven experience in production planning and inventory control, ideally within the automotive sector. Demonstrated success in a lean, high-quality, high-volume environment. Qualifications such as HNC, NVQ Level 4 in a relevant engineering discipline, or an IOSCM/MP&L equivalent.
