Follow all company rules and procedures in relation to policies and health and safety Management of EESE requirements capture process with associated traceability Specification and creation of RFQ packs for procurement of EESE components Electronics hardware design and development support Electronics software design and development support Electrical harness design and development support Integration and validation of Electro/mechanical vehicle systems EESE environmental validation Oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects Assess production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project Compile data derived from reports, revise time schedules according to necessity, and oversee the quality of work at project site Support project review meetings Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects Produce product design and development plans Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company Ensure all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients' necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions Essential Skills
Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within Electrical/Electronic Engineering or within a Project Management role Good understanding of automotive legislative EESE requirements Good understanding of functional safety Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to use Microsoft Office and Project to an advanced level Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers Ability to manage one's own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly Proven record of people & project management Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings Plans work and cascades to team Integrates departmental planning with other business units Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism Organised, methodical but flexible approach to workload Desirable Skills
