Project Engineer - Automation Newcastle upon Tyne - hybrid £45 per hour - outside IR35 6 month initial contract December start date Are you a Senior Project Engineer who has got experience in working on substation SCADA projects? Do you have experience in working within the power transmission and distribution sector? If so, please read on... Essential skillset required: At least 8+ years experience in delivering SCADA and Automation projects Experience within the low voltage/high voltage electricity transmission and distribution industry Experienced in delivering automation projects from design through to commissioning. Knowledge of communication systems and SCADA protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850 and DNP. Experienced in FAT and SAT Preparation of project documentation such as FAT, SAT, operations manuals and design specifications Desirable skillset: Experience in configuration of Zenon HMI software Experience and knowledge of Smart Grid applications Knowledge of substation protection schemes, relays and their operation.
