Due to an increased workload, our client requires 3 additional Senior Project Engineers to join the existing team working on complex aerospace and avionics systems. As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the full product lifecycle, carrying out the following duties: Executing all stages of system lifecycle like requirements management, validation, systems design, development, integration, verification and qualification as per the company standard processes and customer requirements. Being responsible for the planning and generation of engineering tasks and management plans. Converting customer and other stakeholder requirements to define, analyse and inform the total project solution. Engaging with suppliers and customers to ensure the solution meets their expectations. Managing engineering change to ensure system integrity throughout the lifecycle, and ensuring traceability of all key design decisions. Providing support in all areas of the product lifecycle and delivering a totally integrated solution. Planning and scheduling engineering design gate reviews, engaging with other functions e.g. airworthiness, safety to ensure the project delivery milestones are fully met. Managing technical risks and opportunities that may have a direct/indirect effect on the delivery of the project and system. Liaising with the engineering leadership and programme management teams to ensure the project is adequately resourced and support to identify any potential capability shortfalls. Driving continuous improvement and incorporating effective systems engineering management practices. Qualifications: You will have experience in one or more of the following: Mechanical, electro-mechanical, fluid, mechanisms, structures and/or systems engineering knowledge and processes within a product lifecycle or systems product development. You will hold an engineering degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience. Have acquired experience in requirements management and verification, using requirements management tools like DOORS / CRADLE. Skills: You are motivated and proactive, driving solutions to completion. You will have a comprehensive appreciation and understanding of the engineering product life cycle. You have an appreciation for Systems Engineering Management. Have held engineering sign off for documents. You are a natural problem solver, with a solutions-focused mindset. Ability to mentor and develop other team members, where required. Note:

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be able to undergo UK Security clearance checks. Hybrid working is available for this role, as is a 9-day fortnight working pattern.
