Newcastle Upon-Tyne Our client is a renowned interior design studio that has won multiple awards for their stunning projects in the UK. They are currently in search of a well-rounded Senior Interior Designer with experience in luxury residential and commercial projects to join their team in Newcastle. You will ideally be a confident, passionate designer with strong technical skills, able to manage multiple projects, mostly high-end residential, with occasional boutique and hospitality work. In this role, you will create FF&E plans, detailed drawings (layouts, elevations, joinery), and lead smaller projects independently when required. As a senior designer, you will be involved in client presentations, guiding junior designers, and maintaining key relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll also inspire the team and ensure high-quality design packages. The Senior Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or relevant qualifications. At least 5-6 years of professional experience in high-end interior design. Proven track record of designing and leading large scale projects. Knowledge of high-end residential FF&E and strong technical design. Experience leading UK and international projects from concept to completion. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp. An interest in contributing to new business development and being client-facing. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.
