Senior Project Manager

to join the Energy Unit within the Nuclear, Civil, and Defence division. This is a technical project management role within the nuclear industry, offering the opportunity to lead multi-discipline teams and deliver projects safely and effectively in line with company procedures. You will be responsible for setting the project execution strategy, ensuring business risks are mitigated, and delivering on established goals and objectives within the agreed baseline. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams, interact with clients, and ensure the seamless execution of complex, highly regulated projects in the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain a capable and effective integrated project team. Develop and execute strategies and plans to meet project baselines. Lead delivery teams to ensure projects meet scope, cost, schedule, and quality requirements, adhering to legislation and company procedures. Provide accurate and timely project performance updates and reports. Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity. Identify risks, issues, and potential concerns early and implement corrective actions to protect project baselines. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, legislation, and engineering standards. Work closely with project and engineering managers, as well as other project disciplines. Foster and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally. Demonstrated success managing outcomes of complex projects in highly regulated industries, preferably nuclear. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Eligibility to apply for and obtain Security Clearance. Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in project management or an engineering-related discipline. Professional accreditation with a recognised body (e.g., APM, RICS). Evidence of significant continuous professional development.
