This role is instrumental in driving key strategic or high-risk change and delivery at Together. The role forms part of the wider Delivery Manager team capability and reports directly to the Head of Delivery. As a senior member of the Delivery Manager team you will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders up to Executive level and can resolve large complex problems and impediments autonomously. The role holder can deputise for the Head of Delivery where required and understands change across the portfolio and can make balanced and impartial decisions for the betterment of the organisation. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to focus on business and technology changes required to ensure our compliance with the regulatory environment and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise risk appetite. Examples of typical duties: Creation of a Project Charter to set out the scope and needs of the project. Develop a delivery plan that takes in all facets of the delivery, this may cut across multiple trains and teams and include activities from 3rd party suppliers and regulatory bodies. Recognise capacity constraints and act in the best overall interests of the Tech Teams Drive Deliver i.e. fostering a positive work environment and ensuring all resources are clear Develop and maintain appropriate project artefacts Estimate project spend, in line with departmental methods; establish and agree baseline budgets. Track project spend against baseline, report financials accurately and transparently and escalate when forecast spend will exceed the baseline. Establish a working engagement with 3rd parties that allows for collaboration, identification and ownership of actions whilst tracking 3rd party commercial commitments. Driving and managing performance through coaching, support and strategic goals Essential experience required: A solid project management background and have spent significant time delivering change. Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders up to C-Suite level Experience in managing 3rd party engagements, including budget management and scope management Understanding of an agile environment and the appreciation of how the role fits in with the wider Agile ecosystem Candidates with the following skills will stand out: Experience of transitioning from a Waterfall to Agile model Experience of financial services Experience with regulatory change and the regulatory environment for financial services companies Experience with Azure Devops Project Management Certification Together embraces diversity and inclusion, and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
