Senior Project Manager - New Product Development & Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our cutting-edge business and lead high-impact projects within New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI). This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, seasoned professional with a strong background in managing projects in fast-paced environments and highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead complex NPD and NPI projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate cross-functional teams, driving projects from concept through to production. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, managing short lead times and tight deadlines. Engage with both internal stakeholders and customers to align project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact the successful delivery of the project. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Report on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing NPD and NPI projects within highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or automotive technology). Strong ability to manage projects with short lead times and deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments. Previous experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Senior Project Manager in the NPD/NPI space. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with both internal teams and external customers. Hands-on approach to project management, with a strong focus on results. Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Desirable: PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification. Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance standards specific to aerospace or automotive sectors.
