Senior Project Manager

to join their dynamic project delivery team. This pivotal role focuses on the end-to-end management of EV charging site construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You’ll oversee multiple sites, taking them from pre-construction planning to live operation and handover to the operational team. This is a remote role requiring travel across the UK for site inspections, contractor management, and team meetings. What’s in it for You? Manage the entire construction process for EV charging sites, from pre-construction through to operational handover. Compliance Focus:

Ensure strict adherence to

CDM 2015 regulations , and uphold all health, safety, and environmental standards. Technical Expertise:

Oversee HV electrical systems and civil engineering requirements, coordinating timely and accurate installation. Planning and Delivery:

Develop detailed project work programs, tracking progress, costs, and resource allocation. Site Management:

Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Stakeholder Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, facilitating collaboration and resolving on-site challenges. Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive project records from initiation to O&M handover. Budget Control:

Provide accurate cost management throughout the construction phase. Continuous Improvement:

Monitor contractor performance and share lessons learned to enhance future projects. What You’ll Bring Experience:

Significant construction or project management expertise, ideally within HV systems, energy, utilities, or EV charging sectors. Knowledge:

Strong understanding of

CDM 2015 regulations , with experience reviewing and implementing RAMS and CPPs. Qualifications (ideal): SMSTS certified (or equivalent). Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Skills: Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects and contractors. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Other: Highly motivated, proactive problem-solver.
