Hourly Rate: £24.66 p/h Location: Ballymena (hybrid working) Hours of Work: 37 hours per week Duration: 6 month cover Public Sector (possibility of extension) You will have operational responsibility for the following areas of the Finance Department: Belfast Regional City Deal Internal Controls and Processes to Improve Governance Project Managing implementation of additional Modules on Computerised Finance System. Improvements in reporting processes of both Statutory Finance and Management Accounts Finance Policy and Procedures Criteria: Applicants must hold a professional qualification with a recognised accountancy body (CCAB or CIMA) CCAB includes: ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS and ICAI 3 years’ management experience in a Finance function in at least 3 of the following areas: Successful management and development of a team Successful lead on budget setting process and provision of high quality budgetary information Provision of timely, accurate management information to managers for decision making purposes Experience of proactively managing financial controls to the highest level of governance. Experience implementing improvements and procedures An understanding of the legislative framework governing the work of the Department. An understanding of the main issues and developments impacting on service delivery within the service portfolio.
