Airswift is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of Offshore contracts for a major project in the UK. Role will encompass managing offshore operations relating to HVDC cabling, subsea works, canyon crossing and fibre optic technology. Commercial negotiation and contract development with suppliers.
Role Overview
Provide technical support and assurance across the HVDC workstream areas. Confirm EPC contracts meet employers' requirements and constraints. Arrange and lead design reviews including operability and performance. Provide support to ensure the project achieves financial close. Manage EPC interfaces and risks. Engage heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels. Ensure alignment with supply chain and HVDC technology requirements associated with the project. Adopt a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree qualified with extensive experience in relevant sector. Experience in the Power sector Proven experience in HVDC transmission, cabling and subsea installation. Strong knowledge and working experience of offshore contracts and supply chain. In-depth understanding of supply chain and technology relevant to the workstream. Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and board members. Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Pay & Benefits
Competitive PAYE day rate, based on qualifications and experience. 12 month initial contract with potential for extension. Full-time remote role, with travel to Brentford, London office.
