TEAMFORCE Labour are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client in Suffolk, Ipswich.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in Civil Engineering and a proven track record, ideally with experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead high-value, fast-paced, and complex delivery programs. You will oversee multiple workstreams, ensure customer satisfaction, and be responsible for delivering projects within agreed timeframes and budgets while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines. Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving potential delays or risks. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved in the project. Ensure contracts are correctly understood, administered, and complied with throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the preparation and approval of variations, claims, and contractual correspondence. Plan and allocate resources effectively, including staff, subcontractors, and supply chain partners. Monitor resource utilisation to maximise efficiency and productivity. Implement and enforce robust health, safety, and environmental practices on-site. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and company policies. Oversee the implementation of quality management plans, including ITPs and compliance check sheets. Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed agreed standards and specifications. Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Identify and recover additional value through variations and change management. Prepare detailed progress reports for senior management and clients. Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Experience:

Strong construction expertise, with knowledge of techniques and productivity standards. Proven success in delivering large-scale, complex construction projects. Strong ability to manage project teams.

Qualifications:

HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (essential). CSCS accreditation. SMSTS. You will be working for a successful Civil Engineering contractor. Teamforce, professionals in the supply of skilled personnel to Energy, Rail, Tunneling, Construction & Infrastructure projects.
