As a Senior Project Manager (Engineering), you will be responsible for leading high-value engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, drive risk management strategies, and oversee a talented project team to achieve key business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary contact for clients, managing contractual changes where required. Oversee day-to-day project management activities, ensuring compliance with company processes. Develop and maintain project timelines aligned with the lifecycle model. Ensure key deliverables are met and progress remains on track. Report project progress and financial status to the Delivery Director on a monthly basis. Assess, review, and manage project risks effectively. Lead and mentor a team, conducting appraisals, setting objectives, and monitoring performance. Support the Marketing department in bid preparation and review. Foster strong relationships with clients and identify future marketing opportunities. Assist in the selection and management of key suppliers. Perform additional tasks as required to meet business objectives. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within an engineering environment. A recognised project management qualification/certification, ideally APMP or equivalent. Experience in the defence sector or knowledge of IT Defence Industry and Project Development Lifecycle. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing project teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to obtain security clearance. A valid driving licence. Why Join? Competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000.
