This Role can be based in our London OR Leeds Office. The senior Project Manager will be responsible for owning the delivery of the technology department roadmap and end-to-end delivery of all projects and feature requests. Reporting into the CTO, the position will work alongside the technology senior leadership to optimise the output and delivery of the whole technology department, focusing the output on delivering revenue growth for Footballco. Your team will lead the planning and implementation of all technology projects. Forecast resource allocation and sprint planning across both backend and frontend teams and effectively manage and communicate on capacity planning. Define project tasks and resource needs for strategic decision-making, develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timeline, budgets, and deliverables. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Global delivery of technology roadmap Resource planning and capacity management Ensuring a project framework is adhered to for all projects and feature requests With Product management, define each project scope, goals and deliverables Define the responsibilities of key stakeholders involved in each project, including senior management, customers, project teams, vendors, and other affected parties. Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams and external partners to drive project success. Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure timely delivery and achievement of goals. Provide detailed reports and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and performance metrics. Organise and conduct strategic project meetings, such as project kick-offs, steering committees, and executive updates to maintain alignment with company objectives. Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues where necessary, and ensure proactive contingency planning to minimise impact on business operations. Manage the agile project manager, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. WHAT YOU HAVE

Technical Skills

Strong experience leading frontend and backend technical projects Proficient in agile project management frameworks and methodologies (scrum and Kanban) Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Previous experience using project management tools such as Jira and Click Up Individual Skills
