Senior Project Manager

Toro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale projects within the energy sector. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in managing complex, multimillion-pound projects in an EPC/EPCm environment, particularly in the Energy-from-Waste (EfW), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), or Industrial sectors. The successful candidate will oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from initial development through execution and completion. Manage project contracts and schedules, ensuring compliance with EPC and client contractual obligations. Act as the client's representative, integrating into their team to manage technical and commercial aspects effectively. Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery. Monitor project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and CAPEX/OPEX management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience managing projects in an EPC/EPCm environment within the energy or industrial sectors. Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with the ability to oversee negotiations and cost management. Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing project teams and liaising with stakeholders. Engineering background with a degree in a relevant technical discipline (or equivalent experience). In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 (2020) and compliance requirements.

What's on Offer?

Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000, plus a car allowance. Although this is a home-based role, frequent travel to site locations across the UK is required, with stays away from Monday to Friday.
