What is the role? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, with proven experience in an agency environment that will join our existing delivery team, to ensure the smooth delivery of our digital services. Projects will span across all of our services including entire site builds, new app development, website upgrades and integrations, re-brands and consultation. You will have experience in Agile way of working, as well as strong experience in Waterfall for project planning. Duties & Responsibilities Project Planning, Tracking and Reporting Overseeing multiple high value projects through all phases of development, from initiation and planning for execution, monitoring, control and closure. Meeting cost, time and quality objectives when delivering projects. Ensuring detailed project, implementation or action plans are created for the duration of each project as appropriate. Producing agreed levels of reporting on all projects being delivered. Delivering whole solution milestones against plan. Identifying project resource requirements and works with the resource manager to ensure resource availability and allocation. Managing day-to-day activities of the project team to ensure each project remains on schedule and on budget. Creating, maintaining and tracking project plans and schedules, cost estimates, risk and issue logs throughout the life of the project. Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and provide routine status reports to clients and management, escalating issues as deemed necessary. Working with the Production Manager to plan resources in conjunction with sprint timelines. Tracking progress of development work and report such to clients, CTI account managers and senior management. Managing costs and revenues for all assigned projects. Collaborating with the lead developer, developers, business analysts and company executives in order to determine the software's technical direction, system design and implementation plan. Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs, defining contingencies where possible. Key Skills Required Understanding of resource planning in a matrix organisation in the software/web development industry. Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills to work at all levels to effectively set and articulate performance goals. Mindful of team dynamics, resolving issues or conflicts and supporting team morale. Highly organised, calm and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail. Work effectively within a team. Manage tasks and time well. Constantly learn and adapt to new approaches and methods. Naturally solve challenging problems. Ability to be flexible by adapting quickly to changing priorities. Comfortable with coordinating and collaborating with business teams to drive required decisions and outcomes. Cross-functional relationship building is paramount. The role must be able to successfully work with and influence individuals not directly under their control. Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Able to focus on a clear goal in all actions. Skills in relation to JIRA tools and other project management tools are preferable.
