Job Description:
Senior Project Manager MEP The Role: The Senior Project Manager will deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality projects that exceed client expectations for schedule and budget. Key Responsibilities: Provide pre-construction support, managing interfaces with the client, designers, and third parties. Oversee all aspects of assigned projects to ensure successful outcomes. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, from site management to client representatives. Coordinate inputs and outputs across departments including Health & Safety, Quality, Commercial, Planning, Engineering, and more. Maintain high personal and team standards for health, safety, environment, and sustainability. Drive quality through effective planning and right-first-time delivery. Lead, supervise, and mentor the project team. Review engineering drawings, capture and address comments. Manage project finances, schedules, and cost control systems. Ensure proper processes are in place for method statements, risk assessments, and payment records. Appoint qualified site staff and facilitate effective team communication. Identify and report on project risks, opportunities, and future work potential. Collaborate with support departments to maximise project support and knowledge sharing. Support team members in achieving their performance and development goals. Stay current on industry progress and developments. Work closely with project managers, agents, engineers, and supervisors to efficiently manage labour and equipment. Desirable Skills: Significant MEP technology expertise and previous experience Critical areas experience Construction site experience, especially in MEP and utilities Experience working in an international organization Complex project management experience as a Main Contractor Stakeholder management expertise Membership in a MEP institution or equivalent
