SF At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Project Manager at our either our Warrington or Preston site. The role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be managing complex projects and operating at an advanced level. Leading a significant project within the organisation and possibly Project Managers with less complex sub-projects. We have recently secured significant new work within the business so is an exciting time to join. Day to day, you’ll: Be responsible for all aspects of projects delivery to desired time, cost and quality restraints Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities Deliver world class performance by means of employee engagement, continuous improvement and identifying and implementing the latest technology Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality within the project Plan and control finances as a means of driving performance This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis and consists of a 37 hour working week. You’ll be based on site 3 to 4 days a week at our Warrington or Preston offices with hybrid working from home arrangements on the other days. Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager: Relevant Nuclear Experience within a Project Management role Extensive experience in a Project Management position Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC3, NEC4/JCT etc…) – highly desirable Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager: APMP or similar PM qualifications The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
