Construction Project Management Consultancy

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Associate to join our client's dynamic construction management consultancy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile new build construction projects, with a focus on key sectors including Life Sciences, Education, Manufacturing (e.g., Formula 1), and Commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a variety of new build projects for Life Sciences, Education, and Manufacturing/Industrial. Oversee all RIBA stages, from feasibility studies and cost estimation to contract management and project delivery. Provide guidance on the procurement of specialist consultants, including Architects, M&E Engineers, Structural Engineers, and more. Maintain a client-focused approach, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Establish and monitor project targets, including time, cost, and technical milestones. Identify and address quality, H&S, and environmental considerations. Contribute to the development of robust project governance frameworks. Support project planning and preparation of formal progress reports. Serve as a key interface between clients and consultants at all stages of the project lifecycle.

Experience & Skills Required Proven experience in construction project management within the construction consultancy sector. Expertise in project tendering, bidding, contract administration and delivery. Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, APMP, or PRINCE2. Degree in Project Management or a related discipline. Hands-on experience as a Project Manager, Employer's Agent, or Senior Associate in the building sector for a Project Management Consultancy firm. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Proficiency in MS Project (essential).
