We are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced delivery team delivering software solutions for some of the UKs largest financial services companies. This role will report directly to the COO and offers exceptional career development opportunities for the right candidate.

The Senior Project Manager will manage a team responsible for delivery of a significant strategic programme of work to a large financial platform utilising Dunstan Thomas software.

The successful candidate must have experience managing Agile software projects, ideally within the Financial Services market. The candidate must be able to demonstrate successfully managing complex projects, effectively managing software delivery teams and building strong relationships with customers and other key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Understand the business requirements for the project and define the deliverables, resource requirements and plan to deliver the project Act as the primary customer liaison, develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders Set project priorities and manage, monitor and motivate the internal delivery team(s) and ensure effective delivery of the project to time, cost and quality expectations of both the customer and Dunstan Thomas Actively manage key project risks, issues and dependencies, and ensure project delivery to contractual terms and conditions Lead both customer and internal meetings including requirements workshops, project progress meetings, Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Show and Tells and Retrospectives Prepare standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, reports, revenue/cost forecasts vs actuals, change requests and statements of work Management of monthly customer invoices and reports Skills, abilities, and personal qualities

Degree educated Minimum 5 years of project management experience managing multiple projects Experience in both the software and financial services industries A team player with strong communication skills Excellent customer facing skills and experience liaising with external customers A proven track record of successful software project delivery through the full project lifecycle Solid background in Agile software development and delivery principles, and using Agile project tools such as Azure DevOps Ability to organise workloads, effectively prioritise work and meet deadlines Strong leadership skills and experience managing and motivating cross-discipline teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers) Efficient and effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally Good technical understanding and comfortable working in a technical environment The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions Some knowledge of the Investments / Pensions / Savings industry Location: Preferably Portsmouth with options for hybrid working.
