finance transformation programmes

(ideally global) to take on a key role leading a transformative programme in our finance function. Please be aware this role involves travel which will be less at the start but during the peak delivery phase will involve 1 week per month outside the UK. The locations this role will travel to are Investec's locations in South Africa, India (Mumbai) and Channel Islands. Please note we are looking for a specific skillset so please only apply if you have specialised in the delivery of : finance transformation projects/programmes which are large in scale and span multiple workstreams, cross multiple jurisdictions and where you have been responsible for not only the technology implementation but also the process and operating model change, with experience socialising the changes and challenging the status quo across stakeholders to ensure the transformation is a success and full benefits of the programme are realised. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record managing large scale global projects and programmes, with experience of cloud based finance systems, deploying automated solutions and advanced technologies to reshape our operations. In this pivotal position, you will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple workstreams, ensuring that our business requirements are met on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and engage with key stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables. What you will be doing:

Project Leadership : Lead the planning and execution of the finance transformation project, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with senior leadership, IT teams, finance departments, and external vendors to gather insights and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle. Change Management : Lead change management processes to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Performance Tracking : Establish metrics to assess the success of technology initiatives and report on progress to stakeholders. Risk Mitigation : Identify potential risks associated with the transformation programme and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Training and Support : Coordinate the delivery of training programmes to equip teams with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in the transformed environment. What we are looking for:

Proven experience in leading large-scale finance transformation projects within a global context. Strong understanding of cloud-based finance systems, including ERP and EPM systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. A degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant project management certifications (desirable).
