Senior Project Manager Rates:
£335 - £400 per day (Dependent on Experience and Negotiable) Contract Length:

Purpose: Lead and deliver a £10m annual Housing Capital Programme for a local London Authority, managing internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management:
Oversee contracts, ensuring value for money, timely delivery, and quality outcomes. Monitor budgets and forecasts to meet targets. Team Leadership:
Support and manage surveyors, clerks of works, and contract administrators to deliver programme objectives. Contract Oversight:
Ensure contractor performance through regular monitoring, governance, and operational meetings. Tenant Engagement:
Communicate effectively with residents, including vulnerable tenants, to keep them informed and address concerns. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to health and safety, financial controls, and CDM regulations. Produce accurate performance reports and manage S20 leasehold consultations. Quality Control:
Monitor work standards, manage snagging issues, and maintain updated stock condition records. Budget Management:
Maintain strict financial oversight to avoid under- or overspending.
What We're Looking For: Proven project management experience in housing or capital works, ideally with a Local Council or Authority. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent budgeting, compliance, and contractor management capabilities. Commitment to customer service, equality, and safeguarding practices.
