Balfour Beatty is recruiting a talented and driven Senior Project Planner (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our Major Projects team at Net Zero Teesside. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Sr. Project Planner, you will collaborate with various teams to create, monitor, and refine project schedules, while also identifying and resolving potential risks and delays. Join us at this exciting time as we work on high-impact, innovative projects that contribute to a sustainable future. Key Responsibilities: Create & Maintain Schedules:

Work closely with project teams to develop, track, and update schedules for contracts, procurement, baselines, and project tracking. Monitor Project Progress:

Track and report on project milestones, identifying potential delays and challenges early. Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay within scope and meet client expectations. Provide Solutions:

Proactively identify schedule risks and conflicts, offering creative solutions and corrective actions. Mentor Team Members:

Lead by example and support the development of internal teams, facilitating training programs on scheduling best practices. Coordinate Project Plans:

Ensure all aspects of project plans, including timelines, resources, and workflow, are aligned and managed efficiently. Key Interfaces: External:

Client Construction Delivery Lead, Client Planning Lead, Project Manager Safety & Quality Commitment: Champion safety at all times and demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe work environment. Ensure continuous improvement by following BB management systems and producing method statements and risk assessments. Take responsibility for quality control and manage risks effectively in project schedules. Experience & Qualifications: Civil or Construction Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC/Degree level). Vast planning experience. Technically proficient, with a strong understanding of construction projects and the ability to engage with teams effectively. Membership of a relevant engineering professional body (ideal but not essential). Personal Qualities & Behaviours: Results-Driven:
