A global real estate business is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of properties Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property clients Oversee rent collections, service charge accounts, and tenant invoicing Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations Assist with property budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Process payments for utilities, maintenance, insurance, and other property-related expenses Review and analyse lease agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment Collaborate with property managers and other internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations As an Analyst in the FP&A Team, you will support the team in delivering: Reporting and planning processes for both site-level and Group-level financials Short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasting Exec/Board deliverables, including routine reporting, forecast/budget presentations, and ad hoc papers Financial analysis for future transactions and ad hoc projects Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Property Accountant or in a similar role within the real estate industry Strong understanding of property accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar systems) Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Experience with financial planning and analysis, cash flow forecasting, and board-level reporting High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams ACA qualification preferred but not essential Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Why Join Us?
