An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Protection Consultant, supporting a panel of intermediary firms to create, develop and maintain relationships to exceed sales targets. This role is predominantly desk-based using telephone and virtual means of communication, along with approximately 20% of time in the panel's region to support the overall Zurich Distribution strategy. You'll need to be flexible and adaptable, working between home, office, and field as your panel demands. Responsibilities include: Create, develop, and manage relationships with key intermediaries to promote Zurich and drive protection sales via telephone and regular face-to-face interaction. Support key firms and strategic partners to drive better interaction and target market share growth. Support UK-wide roadshows in stand and presenter slots when required, primarily in your region. Understand responsibilities associated with FCA membership including topical industry changes such as fair value, consumer duty, and cost of living. Stay informed about marketplace and industry developments when dealing with distributors. Operate within our Competency Development Framework. Improve and update product and market knowledge and apply it appropriately. Utilize analytic tools and MI to optimize opportunities. Adopt strategic account management development learning and practices where needed. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, resilient, and enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference as part of a team. Necessary qualifications include: Experience in the insurance, protection, or sales industry with experience in presentation delivery. Effective communication skills, both on the telephone and face-to-face, along with superior organizational skills. Passed the R05 Exam (or equivalent).
