We are seeking to add several self-directed, self-motivated, and curious members to our team of engineers, architects, operators, and portfolio managers who build and operate one of the largest, most successful trading operations in the world. The Specialized Electronic Trading Infrastructure Team is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to lead, design, and integrate/build automation services and infrastructure to manage our critical systems at scale across a bare-metal electronic trading environment. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration across our engineering, release management, operations, and estate management teams with a keen focus on quality, testing, and validation of surrounding dependencies. Skills That Will Help You in the Role Workflow Automation:

Passion for automating repetitive tasks at scale across multiple teams. Software Development:

Proficiency in Python and Ansible, with the ability to work on a range of projects from websites to CLI tools to library packages. Data Structures and Algorithms:

Strong understanding of (streaming) data patterns, algorithms, and RESTful APIs. Operational Excellence:

Data-driven decision-making with a history of creating data analytics and pipelines from scratch to validate points. Linux Expertise:

Comfort with the command line, including bash, and the ability to delve into system internals as needed. Network Knowledge:

Familiarity with how data moves between machines and the protocols enabling this movement. Leadership:

Ability to identify work independently, solve problems, and clearly articulate outcomes across diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Fearless Engineering:

Willingness to step outside comfort zones, acquire new skills, and solve broader problems across the technology stack. Technical Excellence:

Experience with continuous delivery, automated testing, security practices, performance optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
