Senior Python Team Lead

- Manchester (Permanent) on a full time basis ( Hybrid , 3 days per week in-office). This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the client development cycles, mentoring team members, and driving architectural decisions for their AI applications. Skills:

At least 10+ years of experience with strong proficiency in

JavaScript

and

Node.js . Active

GitHub profile

showcasing

open-source contributions

or significant past projects. Previous experience in the

startup ecosystem , particularly leading development teams in dynamic environments. Very good understanding and knowledge of web frameworks, such as

Next.js ,

Three.js , and

React.js . Expertise in back-end technologies such as

Node.js

and

Python . Ability to facilitate and run

scrum meetings , ensuring alignment across the team. Review, manage, and accept

pull requests (PRs)

for the organization's library code. Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. Oversee

system design and architecture

for AI applications and deployment pipelines. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Act as a bridge between Python and full-stack teams, ensuring consistency and integration across projects. Experience with version control ( GIT , etc). Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness. A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies. Ability to independently innovate, advocate best practices, and solve complex problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong experience in agile ways of working. A degree in computer science or a related field is desirable but not essential.
