PitchBook is an analytical platform for investment professionals, collecting information from various sources and presenting it conveniently for users. It is beneficial for everyone operating in the financial market — from start-ups and large corporations to venture capital and private equity firms, investment banks, and market analysts. Team:

The Office Plugins team enhances Microsoft tools (Excel and PowerPoint) by integrating PitchBook data, enabling financial professionals to make data-driven decisions. Our clients include investment banks, private funds, and independent researchers. Technical Stack:

TestRail, Postman, Swagger, Selenium, Toucan, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio (for building and starting applications locally). Microservices: Java 17, Spring/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, JOOQ, Elasticsearch, k8s, flux, harbor, docker, GitLab CI/CD, gradle, backstage, OpenAPI, Kafka, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry. Desktop Client: C# 7.3, Async/Await, .Net 4.8, Project Modularity, WPF, Win Forms, Wix, RTD technology, Excel DNA, Ninject, MVVM. Processes:

Stream Aligned Team (Team Topologies), Scrum-based Agile, Confluence, Jira, Aha!, Lucid (aka. Miro). Team setup:

Engineering Manager, Stream Development Lead, 2 Back-End Developers, 1 Front-End Developer, 2 QA (including you), 1 Product Owner. Experience:

3+ years of experience in QA. 1+ years of testing automation using Java and other testing tools. Understanding and ability to apply QA processes and test design techniques. Experience in REST API testing (e.g., via Postman tool, Swagger). Experience working with databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL). Experience using Chrome/Firefox/IE Dev Tools. Upper-intermediate English (Communication with stakeholders and documentation writing). Would be a plus:

Experience with UI Autotests using Selenium. Experience in automated API testing (BDD approach or other). Experience in testing routine automation and custom testing tools. Responsibilities:

Review and analyze requirements to create test cases and checklists. Maintain test documentation and team documentation. Conduct manual testing (test features manually, log results, create defects, track defect completion). Execute and drive regression testing cycles (every 3 months) and create all required documentation. Maintain and extend automated test cases (Selenium, BDD tests in the future). Automate test routines. Collaborate with developers to clarify defects and participate in pair testing sessions. Collaborate with business stakeholders on work-related questions. Review users' inquiries, feedback, and requests daily to address them for development. Participate actively in Daily Standup, Refinement, Planning, and Retrospectives. Adapt communication approach to team processes and personalities. What’s in it for You:
