A growing leading automated machinery manufacturer is seeking a Senior QHSE Officer not only to contribute to safeguarding the workplace but also to play a pivotal role in driving quality & sustainability initiatives. What You Will Do:

Ensure all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies are compliant, followed, and reviewed as required. Provide authoritative guidance on HSE matters to all stakeholders and produce safety statistics for senior management. Develop and maintain robust reporting regimes for all HSE reportable incidents, overseeing incident investigations to ensure lessons are learned and shared. Conduct risk assessments, ensuring they are completed and reviewed to a suitable and sufficient standard. Drive continuous improvement in all HSE matters and ensure effective contractor selection/management compliance. Lead internal audits, developing and maintaining systems, policies, and procedures to meet business objectives.

What You Will Bring:

Qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate with strong and extensive HSE experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing or automotive environment. Experience in implementing and maintaining accredited Safety Management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 5001. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach/implement change and drive behavioural culture change programs. Experience of carrying out internal audits and understanding their role within the corporate business. An understanding of business systems and their development.
