What you’ll be doing:

Leading the investigation, containment, and resolution of quality issues relating to complex products made in a high pace manufacturing facility Hold the authority for issuing Certificates of Conformity assuring the As-Built vs As-Designed condition of our products Ensure all non-conformance is managed in line with the Quality Management System, including product and processes within our internal and external supply chains Work collaboratively with other functional areas to drive a positive Quality culture that pro-actively drives long-term improvement Establish and maintain proactive relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers Lead a team of professional Quality Controllers and support their training and development Support and deputise for the Quality manager in senior business reviews when needed Your skills and experiences:

Essential: Quality or Engineering Bachelor’s degree or relevant apprenticeship Knowledge of quality requirements for aerospace and defence contracts (e.g., AS9100, AS9102, AS9145) Relevant experience in Quality, Engineering, or Operations within a manufacturing setting A logical approach to problem-solving with experience applying standard tools and techniques Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Desirable: Chartered status in Quality or Engineering, or actively working towards it Benefits:

The US Programmes Quality team consists of approximately 60 people and is responsible for ensuring Quality standards are maintained to the satisfaction of our internal and external customers. Predominantly supplying the F35 programme, we work with production and in-service teams to provide governance, assurance and problem-solving expertise across a range of product types.
