An automotive component manufacturer with sites across the UK require a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure products they produce meet the automotive quality standard. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive customer experience with strong skills in a broad range of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.

Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge

Package: £48,000 - £50,000 p.a. + Pension + Free Parking

The Role

Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will have the following duties: Managing all quality-related issues, e.g., internal, supplier, and customer warranty. Carring out product and process auditing. Participating in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEAs.

The Person

Educated to degree level in a relevant manufacturing discipline, you will have the following experience: Previous experience in a quality-related role in first-tier automotive. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA. Knowledge of the automotive standard IATF 16949.
