About the Role: As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our factory in Eastbourne, ensuring smooth processes focused on quality, cost, and timely delivery. You will play a vital role in creating a world-class manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Motivate and mentor team members through appraisals, Personal Development Plans (PDPs), and regular 1:1 coaching sessions, fostering leadership development. Collaborate with production coaches to identify and address knowledge gaps, ensuring the team meets SQDCP targets. Manage shift operations, ensuring production efficiency while promoting a safe and organized workplace. Implement 5S principles and uphold daily management standards. Lead problem-solving initiatives with your team to resolve on-site issues, minimizing disruptions and working with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to drive improvements. Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ISO4001 standards by adhering to Integrated Management System (IMS) policies and contributing to audits and certifications. Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies through regular audits and continuous safety enhancements. Collaborate with the team to meet customer and stakeholder commitments, ensuring accountability for achieving targets and executing plans. Provide hands-on support with packing and production tasks, stepping in to cover shift absences and maintain seamless operations. What We're Looking For: Experience in production, manufacturing, or a similar industry is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, including experience in career development and performance management.
