Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

The finance test team is embarking on a period of transformation and requires a personality at the forefront of this process to advocate for quality engineering.
A bit about the job:
The role involves working closely with all roles in IT and senior business stakeholders whilst understanding the impact on users & our customers. You will be leading the Project test team, managing, coaching, and motivating the test team to ensure resources are available to deliver the project outcomes. You will create the test strategy, driving optimisation, efficiency, automation, and reviewing & approving test documentation, including Test Scope, Test Scenarios, and Test Completion Reports.
Identify and resolve project testing risks, ensuring clear and concise mitigation plans are agreed and progressed. You will be accountable for evaluating and reporting clear, concise, and timely test metrics & dashboards, and reporting test evidence to demonstrate test acceptance criteria are met, escalating if not. Following controls to ensure project risks are reported correctly.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
System development life cycle methodologies, implementing QE metrics delivering efficiency, automation, & quality improvements experience is essential.
Experience setting QE standards and patterns implementing best practices, asset libraries, test data & tooling strategies.
Both functional and non-functional experience including performance, security & accessibility testing.
In-depth understanding of how to define & manage risks, issues & interdependencies as they relate to QE standards and patterns.
Establish positive stakeholder & QE industry relationships by connecting through collaboration inside and outside of Aviva and can communicate complex ideas and MI to a mixed audience in an effective way.
