Location: Eastleigh / Chandlers Ford Contract Type: Permanent Hours Per Week: 37.5 Salary Range: £42,000 - £50,000

Are you an experienced Senior Quality Officer/Engineer seeking a challenging, stimulating and varied opportunity on a permanent basis for a rapidly growing, global supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke equipment and machinery into multiple sectors? Do you have experience working in an engineering environment with a background in maintaining QMS, willing to mentor/coach other quality officers?

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Quality Officer to join their team and support the continued success of a bigger group. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the business.

This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can lead audits, optimize processes, and champion quality standards. You'll work closely with stakeholders to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Essentials:

Qualifications:

ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification (essential). Experience:

Proven track record in quality management, compliance, and ISO 9001:2015 implementation and auditing. Skills:

Strong communication, strategic thinking, advanced IT proficiency, and leadership capabilities. Additional:

UK driving license and willingness to travel nationwide.

Salary Package:

Competitive Annual Salary - £42,000 - £50,000. Annual and Quarterly bonus schemes. Company car. Enhanced pension scheme and life insurance (3x annual salary). Generous annual leave: 24 days + 8 bank holidays, with service-based increases. Hybrid working model. Training and development support.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, maintaining all documentation and supporting audits. Process Optimization:

Define and streamline internal processes to boost operational efficiency and consistent quality assurance. Audit Leadership:

Conduct internal and external audits, preparing reports, and implementing corrective actions. Supplier Oversight:

Maintain a robust supplier management system, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Continuous Improvement:

Lead initiatives using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to enhance product and service delivery. Training & Development:

Design and deliver quality management training for staff at all levels. Customer Resolution:

Investigate and resolve customer complaints, producing detailed reports and driving service improvements.
