About the Role Due to the growth of our Workdry Group, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Quality Officer to join our team to support our Chandlers Ford Branch. This position will support the Quality Manager in driving compliance, delivering operational excellence, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. The Senior Quality Officer will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring that the organisation meets the highest quality standards, aligns with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and delivers exceptional service to customers and internal stakeholders. The role involves supporting strategic quality initiatives to drive continuous improvements, supporting the development of procedures across the business including implementation within business units, investigating quality issues that arise, and providing effective feedback to internal and external stakeholders on the findings of investigations and the effectiveness of preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence, mentoring our Quality Officers, conducting audits, and proactively addressing quality challenges to strengthen the overall quality culture within the company. Main Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing our ISO9001 Quality Management System. This will include defining and optimising internal processes, creating and amending quality policies and procedures to support consistent quality assurance and operational efficiency, using data-driven methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma. Your role will include leading continuous improvement initiatives to define, create, and optimise internal processes, systems, and procedures across the Workdry Group, with the aim to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies. You will be a key contact for customer complaints, working with technical experts within the business to provide detailed investigations that identify root causes and collaborate with stakeholders to develop robust preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence. You will be working with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet our quality standards by conducting ISO9001 internal and external audits and resolving any quality non-conformances. You will be responsible for identifying non-conformances, preparing detailed audit reports, and leading the collaboration with stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards, maintaining all documentation in a clear and accessible manner. You will design and deliver training sessions on quality management systems, standards, and best practices for staff across all levels of the organisation. Qualifications & Experience You will need to have one of the following Lead Auditor Certification standards: ISO 9001:2015, 14001, 45001. You will have previously implemented an ISO management system within an organisation. Lean Six Sigma qualification is preferable. Experience with writing and implementing processes and communicating them within a business. Experience conducting internal and external audits including supplier evaluations, audits, and reviews. You will need to have a strong background in handling customer complaints, communicating investigation findings back to customers, and actively implementing preventative actions with stakeholders. You will need to have experience in mentoring colleagues/wider team to support them in challenges they may face and to share your knowledge base. Demonstrable experience in a senior quality role or similar, with a proven track record in quality management and compliance. Strategic and analytical skills: Ability to analyse complex quality data and develop actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. Strong communication and leadership skills: Capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of quality excellence. Advanced IT skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience with SharePoint or other document control software. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. UK driving licence: Ability and willingness to travel nationwide, supporting multiple locations, conducting audits as required and staying away from home from time to time.
