The bank is searching for a

Senior Quantitative

Finance Analyst

who will

lead model development for the Incremental Risk Charge, Comprehensive Risk Measure, and Incremental Default Risk models . These models are used to measure different aspects of credit default and transition risk for the Global Markets portfolio and contribute to advanced approaches to regulatory capital requirements as well as forward capital planning and stress testing.

Be responsible for the development and support of the analytics underlying these models, as well as having matrix responsibility for the team members who support these models.

Educational Level

Post-Graduate Qualification (preferably to PhD level) in quantitative finance or a quantitative field

Work Experience

Experience in data analysis , with excellent research skills

Solid working experience in a model development role, preferably with significant experience in credit modelling.

Duties/Responsibilities

Engaging closely with all model stakeholders including model development, model risk, senior stakeholders, and our regulators to understand their expectations and plan the delivery of improvements that meet their requirements.

Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with personnel across areas and regions.

In-depth analysis and development of the bank’s IRC, CRM, and IDR models, using quantitative tools to understand model behavior and identifying, supervising, and executing improvements to the model framework.

Programming skills Python, C++; a solid understanding of sound software development

Sense of focus and rigor in the completion of deliverables

Supporting bank-wide drivers that impact these models – e.g. migration to FRTB, annual CCAR assessments

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Ability to multitask with excellent prioritization skills.
